Any math major, or anyone in STEM in general, has an extreme love/hate for the subject. Chances are they picked math simply because they're pretty good at it. But, just like any other field, we math majors have our struggles too!
1. Understanding the concept when the professor explains it, then being confused on the homework

It made so much sense!!
2. Study groups will save you

Let's all be confused together!
3. The godsend that is Chegg Study

I don't want to rely on Chegg, but at the same time I can't help but rely on it
4. That one problem on the homework/test that the professor NEVER taught you how to do

This one better be extra credit
5. When the batteries in your calculator die at the worst possible time

It has happened to all of us at least once
6. Practicing the same examples over and over again

I mean, how else are you supposed to study math?
7. "You're a math major? Oh wow, I'm so bad at math! You should tutor me!"

Um...no thanks
8. "What are you going to do with your degree?"

There are literally hundreds of things you can do with a math degree, Karen! You expect me to pick just one?
Even with all the struggles of homework and exams and graphing calculators, we really do love our major (most of the time).
