Math is sexy!

And it is stunning.

Math is sexy!

You are in algebra class, and the teacher explains the hypotenuse theory; You get bored and close your eyes. The next thing you know, you are learning about derivatives and Taylor theories. You freak out and don't know what to do, and you hope you will pass the class, or else you fail. Many people had and still have this problem. And what they ask the teachers is, "when are we ever going to use it?". And the teacher is now frustrated because she can't answer that question, and she will say something like, "you will don't have a calculator every day!" The next thing you know, WWIII has just started.

Well, the last part may not be right. But what is amazing is that almost all students have a hard time with math and can't understand what any of this stuff means.

What students need to understand is that math is a great help in their daily life. Even if they don't use it firsthand, it could help them with Problem-solving and analytical thinking. It creates a new Neural Pathway, making you more intelligent and a hard worker. Especially if jobs need someone with good problem skills, they will look at someone who has a high understanding of mathematical concepts.

People think math is dull and abstract, and it's all about numbers and old computers. But math it's much more than that. It is beautiful and sexy in many different forms. It's all around us. Math is buried in the atoms flowing through my hands while I type. Those atoms create a chemical reaction that helps me organize my thoughts faster. Those chemicals reactions build new cells that flow through my body at high speed (which can be calculated with math) to keep me alive. Those cells work together and make up me. I and everything around me is composed with matter that can be explained with mathematics.

Math is poetic. In Tchaikovsky Swan lake, those majestic ballerinas float gracefully in the air, and what they don't realize is that they create a human life perpetual motion. As dancers create new dance routines, what they keep in mind is the algorithms, the patterns, symmetry, etc.… All this is composed from a spatial perspective.

Our world may feel random sometimes, but it's all connected. Nature is filled with beautiful symmetry and patterns, just like the Golden Ratio. There are so many fascinating discoveries and so many other things yet to be discovered. All this can be understood with the help of mathematical language.

Math doesn't have to be a struggle students have. It should be something that can learn quickly and love it throughout their lives. Of Course, there may be limitations students might have. But that doesn't mean students must give up altogether. They should try to find motivation and work with their best interests to get good grades.

The first thing it will help the students in math is teachers and their education. The teacher needs to engage with the class. And instead of focusing too much time teaching for the test, they should teach the class on its understanding. They should able to tell the story of math and its possibilities. They should also pay more attention to the failing students, who don't even care about the class, instead of focusing too much attention on the A+ gifted students. The education system needs to change so more students can become great leaders, thinkers, and thoughtful people.

Overall, students and people must learn that the language of love is not French, but it is math.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

The holiday season is full of stress, debt, and forced conversation. While we rush through the month of December, it's important to take a step back and enjoy the moments before they're gone. Most families love to watch Christmas movies, but these beloved films provide more than entertainment. Here are 10 life lessons that I've learned from the holiday classics we watch every year.

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
