On the day after the inauguration, people both abroad and here at home had the chance to experience a moment that will go down in our history forever: The Women's March.
Though the main idea of the protest was to push ideas of equal rights for women, the march was fueled by a sufficient amount of anti-Trump sentiment. Along with drawing attention to his controversial approach to Roe v. Wade, protesters flooded the streets with signs regarding his Russian ties and stance towards the Central Intelligence Agency.
As a continuation of the protests that occurred during Donald J. Trump's inauguration, the Women's March in D.C, N.Y, and Chicago, as well as those in cities abroad, voiced the hearts of people around the world who are concerned with the current condition of the United States, where the massive political divide has caused a wave of anxiety across the entire globe.
