The comic book universe is always growing with new movies, television shows and comic books that continue to tell stories of some famous comic book characters. They know that they have multiple fans that are anticipating to see one of their favorite characters come to live either in a movie or a television show. The debate has been going on for a long time on which studio ranks supreme in terms of giving what the fans want and whether or not it turns out well.

Let's start with the movie company that has been around since 2008 and that is Marvel Studios when they started off with "Iron Man." Robert Downey Jr. did an excellent job portraying the role of Tony Stark/Iron Man and setting up the first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There is indeed a post-credits scene in which Nick Fury comes to Tony and tells him that he wants to form an initiative team full of other superheroes that are located in other parts of the world. Just from that one scene alone, Marvel knew that they had to deliver what the fans were anticipating to see and that is what will happen next in the MCU.

After that film is released, it is the "Incredible Hulk," the film about the man who can turn into a giant, strong man who is basically invincible. At the end of that movie, there was a scene where Tony Stark comes to him and tells him that the "team" is underway of being formed. It seems that each one of these films that introduces the members of the "The Avengers" have incorporated the Avengers at the end of each film before the first "Avengers" was released. After the first "Avengers" film, there have been the various films that each relate to the future films that are to come our way. The fans will have something to look forward to until the day that the last Marvel cinematic universe film is released into theaters.

On the other side of the equation, comic book fans have got the DC Cinematic Universe. The first film that was released for the cinematic universe was "Man of Steel," a reboot of the "Superman" origin story. The film was praised for its visual effects and musical score, but lacked on character development and proper storytelling. The follow-up film that was expected to become a huge blockbuster hit, "Batman v. Superman," was a movie that a lot of people were expecting to see during spring 2016. That film was considered to be a box office disappointment and received a lot of negative comments from the film critics.

The next film from the DCU was "Suicide Squad," a film that focuses on the villains of the universe from Harley Quinn and the Joker to Deadshot and Kitana. This film was really anticipated because it looked as if it was going to be different compared to the other DC films that were created before. It was created to have a fun yet dark look on the villain side of the DC Cinematic Universe. At the end of this film, the post credits scene shows a preview of the Justice League that is to come our way by introducing the audience to the Flash and the Aquaman. Solo movies for some of these characters are soon to be released into theaters within the next few years.

Marvel and DC are both film companies that are based on comic book characters that have different personalities and stories to tell. With the film companies' aim to tell the stories that are based heavily on these comic books, it's up to the film's directors, producers and other creators to make sure that is what the audience wants and they are satisfied with the end result. With more movies that are to come our way from both of these film companies, all of the geeks are waiting to see what each of these companies are going to be releasing. I am excited for what both of these film companies are going to be coming up with because they both are going to be creating films about characters that I am interested in. I am sure that you guys think the same thing as me when it comes to these films because the comic book universe sure is an interesting one to watch movies about.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
