I married my best friend, and I am beyond thankful to God that I did! Marriage is such a blessing, and I knew it would be amazing and full of love, but who knew how fun it would be? If you just want a reminder of how great it is, or if you are going through a fight with your husband/wife, here are a few things to remember. Maybe — I hope — they help! Let's be thankful and extend our love to them.

1) You Can Be Weird

They have totally accepted the fact that they have married a weirdo and join in on the fun! You guys share a mutual weirdness and sense of humor and may even talk in different accents 99.99 percent of the time. You probably look at each other mostly with weird unnatural facial expressions, but you bond over aspects that connect you and grow from them. Marriage is fun!

2) You Understand Each Other Completely

With one glance, shoulder pinch, or shin kick your wife or husband knows exactly what you mean. This is pretty great when you are too sick to talk in a loud room, or in an awkward social gathering you have no desire to be attending. The magic of husband/wife telekinesis.

3) You Can Be Kids Together

You can pretty much have a slumber party whenever you want. Living room fort? Heck yeah. Ice Cream? Of course. Movie theater popcorn? Why not! You are living with your best friend — have some fun with each other!

4) You Get to Learn Together

Life is crazy and messy and you get to do it all with your best friend right by your side! You have each other through all of life's goods and bads. You get to learn new things about each other and the world, sharing in it all together. You don't have to go through it alone — you get to look forward to your best friend's company every day.

5) You Can Chill Together

You have a mutual understanding that relaxing with each other is pure bliss. Whether it be reading silently near each other, watching television together, or daydreaming together, you look forward to it and the inevitable peace it brings.

Marriage is wonderful, and your spouse is your best friend. Let's remember that and truly appreciate it.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).
