Ten years ago, the greatest show to ever grace Disney Channel walked into our hearts. Everything from the casting to the screenwriting was absolutely genius. None of us knew who Miley Cyrus was, but it was sure that she was someone special. With her two pals and rockstar dad, the gang embarked on countless adventures that we became a part of. It was not long before kids just like me were obsessing over this television phenomenon. There was never another show that made us feel as special as "Hannah Montana" did.

Though a lot has changed since the show first aired, I think it is safe to say that we will never forget the girl with the double identity. Here are somethings that Hannah Montana taught me as she inspired me to truly try and live the best of both worlds.

1. Nobody's Perfect.

Hannah guided us through those difficult growing-up moments. Yeah, everybody knows what she's talkin' bout, everybody gets that way. Thanks for understanding, Hannah.

2. When things go wrong, there's nothing a sweet disguise and some shenanigans can't solve.

Shoutout to Milo and Otis.

3. Ketchup is a great moisturizer.

This goes to show that even international pop sensations are just as awkward as you and me. Dang flabbit, Miley.

4. The value of entrepreneurship.

You're lying if you say you didn't know all of the words to this sick beat. I think we were all inspired by Oliver's fricky-fricky-fricky-fresh rhymes.

5. Music can be a great kind of medicine.

She empowered us to have nerve and make some noise, she reminded us that life is what you make it and to make it rock. It was the first time that music made me feel something. No matter what I would face, from that point on, I knew I had music to guide me through.

6. True friends stick by you no matter what.

In the midst of the Amber AND Ashley's of the world, true friends love you for you. It doesn't matter whether or not you are wearing a wig. You're a truuuuuuue friend, you're here 'til the end...

7. The Bone Dance.

You know, I have never been much of a science person, but I do know that, "I've got some tarsals too, I'll put them in my shoe."

8. Never forget your roots.

They are what got you to where you are today.

9. Though some of the best parts of our lives come to an end, they will forever be a part of us.

That last episode was an emotional whirlwind.

10. "Life's a climb, but the view is great."

And so is looking at Lucas Till.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
