Marilyn Monroe was an international icon. All of the females wanted to be her, while all of the males wanted to get with her. Her classic look and popular fashion style is something that many people remember her by to this day. However, when it comes to her death there are many unanswered questions. Did Marilyn Monroe die due to a drug overdose, or was there more to the story?

In 1962 Marilyn Monroe died due to an assumed suicidal drug overdose. She was found in her home, face down In her bed with a phone in one hand and empty pill bottles surrounding her. Many conspiracy theories surround her death, like the one stating that she may have been having an affair with one of the Kennedy's (John or Robert), and one of them sent someone out to kill her so that she would not leak any news of their affair to the press. While there are many other conspiracy theories out there, one that has just arised is the conspiracy theory stating that Marilyn Monroe was murdered because she knew too much information about the existence of aliens.

Because of Marilyn's alleged affairs with both of the Kennedy brothers, it would make sense as to why she might have known some top secret information that the government did not want to share about aliens.

According to a documentary titled "Unacknowledged", there are speculations of proof that Monroe knew about the Roswell incident, and wanted to leak the news to the press when the Kennedy brothers called it quits with her. The documentary mainly focuses on a man named Dr. Steven Greer. In one scene of the documentary, Dr. Greer reads a "death warrant" for Marilyn Monroe. This warrant was created because Monroe was talking to a reporter named Dorothy Kilgallen, who was very interested in the Roswell incident.

Dr. Greer has a CIA memo that was written two days before the death of Marilyn Monroe. Greer states that the memo shows how Monroe was wirte tapped by the agency because of her relations with the president. According to the memo, Monroe was planning on holding a press conference to tell everyone about how Jack Kennedy once told her about witnessing debris from a UFO.

However, this documentary is questioned by various different people. Dr. Greer also claims that he is able to summon UFO's and has done so with the French ministry of defense. Unfortunately, the French ministry has not made any comment regarding this.

In my personal opinion, I do believe that Marilyn Monroe was murdered, and did not commit suicide. But, I do not personally believe that the conspiracy of her murder being linked to the Rowell incident is true. I think that her murder being due to the mafia is more believable.

What do you think actually happened to Marilyn Monroe?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
