Well, summer is certainly here. For some, it has been summer for a month, and for others, it has only been a day or two. Either way, summer marks the advent of fun times for most people. In order to ensure a memorable and exciting summer, I have decided to create a summer bucket list. The only rule I have for this list is that I try to accomplish as many of the items on it before I must return to school in the fall. Here’s what I have on my list for now:
.Go to the lake
.Have a bonfire (or seven)
.Spend a day in Canal Park in Duluth, Minnesota
.Go stargazing
.Meet up with my friends from college
.Try as many cinnamon rolls as possible from as many places as possible
.Dance in the rain
.Go on a road trip
.Cook something for fun
.Run a half-marathon
.Make donuts
.Try something new (like sushi)
.Read a novel or two
.Make a lot of money at my summer jobs
.Spend time with my siblings
.Go see a movie in theaters with my sister
.Work on my green thumb
.See the sunrise
While I’m sure there will be more to add to this list as the summer goes on, I think I’ll start with what’s on there for now. After all, you always need somewhere to start, don’t you?
