Some thoughts:
Looks like we're a football conference after all. The only undefeated teams in the ACC are FSU and Notre Dame. Coming on the heels of a great bowl season, it's fitting that the two schools with perhaps the most storied football programs sit at the top.
Indefinite Means 1. Someone should update Merriam-Webster and Urban Dictionary, as Coach K single-handedly and permanently redefined the word with Grayson Allen's indefinite-turned-one-game suspension. Here's to hoping "one" and "indefinite" are interchangeable when it comes to the amount of class periods your professor allows you to miss this upcoming semester as well.
Tech pulls a Tech. Immediately after beating the Allen-less Blue Devils, the Hokies turn around and lose to NC State by 26. They're flirting with March Madness this year but we'll see how long that lasts. But hey, if they don't there's always a spot for them in the NIT.
Maybe Louisville should keep recruiting kids by offering them strippers and prostitutes. The only winless team left in the conference, top-10 ranked Louisville is having some trouble without all the fun that comes from breaking multiple NCAA rules . Plus UVA absolutely destroyed them as well.
The ACC is tough. We all know, or at least hope, the Hoos are right up there at the top of the conference, but there are a multitude of good teams. The conference could potentially put 11 or 12 teams into the NCAA 64-team tournament, and the regular-season champion could conceivably have 4 or 5 losses (aside from the utter certainty that UVA wins out and finishes the regular season with a conference record of 16-2 of course). And, consequently, it's only going to get more hectic.
