When your buying makeup you try and find the best quality products, do you consider how they are produced?

An alarming amount of brands test on animals and use their byproducts as well. Animal testing is an alarming and unnecessary tool companies use to test products at a cheap price, not to mention it is extremely cruel.

Buying from companies that use animal testing is supporting the industry. By purchasing from these companies, you are saying that you're okay with the cruelty.

These animals are being locked in small cages all day, and sometimes multiple are assigned to one cage. They endure extreme pain, injected with chemicals, dragged, and abused. Once the scientists are done testing, the animals are often killed or put back in cages for continual future testing.

Some of the poisons they are injected with can cause burning, brain damage, blindness, and other horrible means of physical pain. In many experiments, they are restricted by contractions that can be too tight, often choking them.
