Whether it's just to look like you didn't pull an all nighter for class, wandering around campus, or going out - these makeup staples will be there for you through it all.

Dior's Diorshow Waterproof Mascara ($28.50)

Whether you're sweating from that long walk across campus or you're crying because of midterms, this waterproof mascara isn't going anywhere. And it makes your lashes look like yours but better!

Stila's Eyeshadow in the shade Kitten ($18.00)

Pop this bad boy into the inner corner of your eyelid and you'll look bright and awake all day.

Rimmel London's ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner in Nude ($4.49)

Use this on your waterline to open up your eyes. This will trick people into thinking you got more than 2 hours of sleep.

Kat Von Do's Lock-it Concealer Crème ($28.00)

This stuff does not budge! Whether you get a lighter color to contour or use it under your eyes to hide the bags, then this stuff will do the trick. An added bonus is that it's vegan and cruelty-free.

Chapstick ($1.99)

In the winter, your lips are going to get chapped from walking around outside, especially when it's snowing and the professordoesn't cancel class *eye roll*. Use something simple to keep those lippies hydrated.

Clinique's Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm ($29.00)

This stuff if great for keeping your skin hydrated after taking off your makeup. Some makeup removers are too harsh and leave your skin dry and flakey, or others feel way too oily and leave a gross residue on your face. This balm is neither of those!

Neutrogena's Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes ($6.49)

These are good if you have had a long day and you don't feel like taking the time to wash your face. It gets all your makeup off so you're ready to wash a clean face in the morning. A great thing about this is that they're from drugstores, so you can probably find a coupon for them!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
