Make Your Life A Story Worth Telling

If I may say so myself, the incredible humans that raised me did a pretty great job.

But that’s not to say that I turned out perfect. Because I didn’t.

None of us did, for that matter.

We’ve made mistakes.

MANY MISTAKES.

BUT we’ve learned from them.

At least that’s what I like to tell myself anyway.

Whether it was

Underage drinking,

Illegal consumption of substances,

Loosing our virginity to someone we didn’t love,

Lying,

Wishing evil upon someone,

Or wasting money on some useless shit instead of putting it to good use,

Remember. We’re human. We mess up sometimes. It’s okay. Learn to forgive others, but most importantly, learn to forgive yourself. Because life’s too short, and tomorrow isn’t promised. So live it up. Or don’t. It’s your decision, and no one should make you feel guilty for it.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
