It's the final countdown. College seniors are officially in their last semester of college. Where did the time go? One second you were in your freshman seminar class and now you are frantically holding on to your remaining college days. Adulthood is just around the corner. Looking back, you may think those 3 and half years were lacking in the memory department. There is no time like the present to make your last semester your best semester.

1. Be an early riser

Wake up early when you can. If you managed to not have classes on some days this semester, make those days productive. Don't always sleep in. Instead, get up early and enjoy the little moments of life like watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Make this time for you to just be one with the world.

2. Be healthy

The key word here is: try. We aren't all gymaholics. We also don't always choose the best foods to put in our bodies. However, having a healthier lifestyle will benefit you in the long run. Of course, being healthy means having balance. Eat and exercise in moderation. Try to stick to a realistic routine that works for you.

3. Be a go-getter

Make the time to invest in your future with job searches. This is the time to be active in filling out job applications. Once receiving that job of adulthood, you can feel that monstrous weight of expectation fall off your shoulder.

4. Be studious

This is the last time you'll ever get the chance to boost your GPA so use your time wisely. Know how to balance your time. My motto is if your GPA is admirable, then you can do as you please. Just remember, you are here as a student first.

5. Be a partier

If you ever get the chance to go to the bars with your friends, go! This is probably the last time getting everyone together will be easy. After college, everyone will be dispersing all over the states and starting their careers. Might as well make the most of it when everyone is still together!

6. Be spontaneous

Go on random road trips any time the opportunity presents itself. Again, once you start your career, it may be awhile before you get to embark on these adventures. This is the time where you can drop everything and take a spontaneous trip to Canada for the weekend. Carpe Diem while you can!

7. Be a photographer

Capture the moment! Take as many pictures as you can. This is your last chance to document your memories in college. However, you don't need to show these pictures to the world of social media. Some moments are meant for you and your personal life.

8. Be a good friend

College is stressful. Sometimes your friends may need you to be their anchor to keep them grounded when life becomes too much. Always reassure your friends that you are there for them when they need you. But, make sure they know that you can only give so much advice. It's what they do with your advice that makes the difference. You are not meant to save your friends, you are meant to guide them.

9. Be your own hero

Make sure you remind yourself that this is your life. Some decisions you will make will be for you. This may not settle well with others because your decision may not benefit them or they may not agree with you. That's okay. You are the main character in your life.

10. Be present

Say it with me now: Put the phone down. I get it, we are the millennial generation and we are practically glued to our phones. Yet, we are missing out on opportune moments to actually have meaningful face-to-face conversations with others. With that being said, get off of social media. You do not need to be constantly connected. Try being more present in the physical world and less in the virtual world.

11. Be you

No one knows you better than yourself. Sometimes it is easy to get lost in the chaos of college. Don't forget what you stand for. Know that you are your own definition of beautiful and worthwhile and no one else's definition. There is a reason for your successes in life, it's because you are uniquely you.

I'm sure, like me, many of you received lots of gift cards over the holidays. After working retail seasonally, here are a few tips that I learned in order to make the employees at your favorite store just a little happier and not want to charge you extra on your purchase for being awful. Here are some times when you should be nicer to retail workers than you actually are!

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
