As we all know, mornings can be pretty damn tough. The nagging noise of our alarm clocks makes us want to chuck our phone across the room and cry... or at least it does for me. But if you’re reading this, then I am sure it does for you too.

Getting out of bed is difficult no matter what time you have to do it. And I honestly feel as though I could get a full night of sleep and still struggle with de-cozying myself out of bed in the morning. However, I have been able to find simple little ways to make my mornings a little easier.

Hopefully, you also can find these as helpful as I do.

1. Use a song instead of an annoying chime as your alarm

In high school, my song of choice was "Drunk When I Wake Up" by Mike Stud, Mod Sun, and Huey Mack. However, I currently have yet to choose the perfect alarm. Without a doubt, it's way easier on the ears to wake up to a song than a repeating alert.

2. Set your alarm 15 minutes early to give yourself some time to lay in bed

When you set your alarm for the time that you actually need toget out of bed, then you dread getting out of bed that much more. Set it a little early so you can give yourself some time to wake up.

3. Get your outfits laid out the night before

I plan my outfit the night before and set it out in my bathroom so it is ready to go when I wake up. When I do this, it eliminates one less step in my morning routine and starts my day off a little better. I highly recommend it!!!

4. Make yourself a healthy and hearty breakfast

I am sure you have heard it over and over again, but breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Starting out your day with a light and delicious meal makes you not only feel better but gives you something to look forward to. I mean who doesn't get excited when it's time to eat?

5. Have a cup of coffee

I cannot stress it enough how much more alert my cup of coffee makes me feel. When I wake up groggy and crabby, coffee always helps to cure it. If you are an iced coffee fan, put some in the fridge overnight. And if you aren't a coffee fan, then try a good, caffeinated tea.

6. Make your bed

Although I do have days that I am too lazy to even think about making my bed, when I actually do it, I feel as though I can take on the rest of my day. Having a made bed makes your room feel cleaner and makes you feel a little more productive as you start your day.

Hopefully, this can help make your mornings more simple and less of a pain in the butt. Maybe now you can even learn to like mornings (or not).

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
