Make America Great Again

Another half-hearted critique of Donald Trump.

The year is 2016 and we are all too familiar with the name "Donald Trump." I revere a time in history when you had to tune into The Apprentice to hear his blabbering ignorance and narcissism but now, unfortunately, all you have to do is turn on CNN. We have been force fed this orange haired, potato-faced dumbass 24/7 on any news network imaginable as if somehow people are still shocked he even got a single vote (and you should be). It seems every time he makes a comment that you would expect from the fat 7th grade bully all we Americans are rewarded with is more free T.V. time for the Donald.

The American voting public is being fed a distorted message when Donald Trump says something completely and utterly racist, bigoted or just plain stupid and we get to watch three news anchors try to salvage what he maybe, could have meant behind all of the shouting and repetitive adjective choices (looking at you Fox News).

Donald Trump is actually right, America is losing its way. If we were as great as we used to be back in whatever time he's referring to in his campaign slogan, someone would have realized he's a 12 year old by now and the country would have moved on. But, sadly, we keep giving him incredible amounts of credit and respect for presenting policy ideas I used to write about in my high school civics class papers and promptly receive a C-.

I thought this was a country of patriots. A country that when someone embarrasses themselves on national television we treat them like Janet Jackson and ruin their careers.

If we have one hope left, may we leave it to the handful of you that still make YouTube video montage commentary to ruin a Trump campaign once and for all. Please enjoy a list of some links to my personal favorite videos that show Thin Skin in his natural habitat. Enjoy-

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

The Unwritten Rules Of "Talking"

What is "talking?" How does one "talk?"

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
