This man doesn’t want to come home to an unhappy home.
But that man doesn’t want to do what it takes to keep the lights on.

No man wants a home with leaks in it and end up in water sometimes knee deep in it.
Especially after being at work all day, he'd just rather sleep & play.

Some men run from a fixer upper. Too much trouble when there is another,
place to rest their head in,
A place their body can sleep in.. without having to worry about what’s broken.

Forgetting he came in and put holes in the walls. He turned the water on and forgot it was on. He left without paying a single bill.

He ignored the damage until it became too big. I am a mad house and I am sick.

I am the home you hate to be in. Because of you, nobody wants to live in. It would take a hard worker to build me back up. I pray someone walks past & can fix me up.

So then I can keep him warm like I once did for you.
Home his family like I could have done for you.
Be available when you needed me to be.
Be so comfortable you wouldn’t want to leave, see?
