Since I'm spending the summer trying to imitate Mabel's art, some of these looks are becoming beautiful monstrosities:
But, for the sake of "wearability," we'll work our way up to the puppy playing basketball and continue with something simpler.
This week: The Watermelon
1. Apply crease and lid shades.
After applying and setting your eye primer, pack a hot pink eyeshadow all over the lid using a flat shader brush, then use a fluffy brush to blend a matte light green into the crease, blending out the lid color. Deepen the crease and outer V by layering a darker green over it.
If necessary, blend out the edges of the crease with a matte nude shade.
2. Draw the seeds and highlight.
Use a black liquid eyeliner to draw short lines scattered around the lid. You may want to just lay the tip or brush against the lid so it doesn't smudge as easily.
Use a light green shimmer shade to highlight the inner corner of the eye, and smudge the first crease shade along the lower lashline, blending it out for a more subtle effect. Highlight the browbone with a matte white or nude shadow, then accentuate the arch with a cream-colored shimmer shade. Finish with a black mascara.
