There's a lot to look forward to from Disney this summer - what with the D23 Expo coming up (and me not going, as usual), Star vs. the Forces of Evil season 3, and the DuckTales reboot premiering next month - meaning I'm going to have a lot more material to work with. But until all of that is out, I'm continuing my celebration of the show that arguably revived Disney Television Animation (yes, they had Phineas and Ferb, but for a few years that seemed to be their only successful cartoon).
Let's jump back in with the design from the iconic Sweatertown scene...
This week: The Butterfly
1. Apply crease and lid shades.
As always, apply and set an eyeshadow primer before starting. Use a fluffy brush to blend a dusty mauve shade into the crease, then sweep a light pink shadow all over the lid.
2. Draw the butterfly.
Use a thin black (or purple - the color seemed to change between scenes) eyeliner to draw a small oval shape below the end of the eyebrow. Then, draw a simple butterfly wing shape on either side of it with a red eyeliner. You can also draw small circles in each section with a pink liner, but it might not be noticeable.
Use the same black eyeliner to draw a dotted line from below the butterfly to the inner corner, making a loop above the lid.
3. Tightline and accent.
Highlight the browbone with a shimmery cream shade, and tightline the lower waterline with a black pencil liner. If necessary, you can set the tightline and intensify the color by applying a matching eyeshadow on top of it.
Smudge the same shade you used in the crease along the lower lashline and finish with a black or brown mascara.
