Have you ever heard of the new clothing sensation, LuLaRoe? If you haven’t, here’s a brief description: LuLaRoe employs consultants throughout the United States to advertise and sell high-quality leggings, shirts, and dresses. The company has exploded through the last year or so, expanding from a few hundred consultants to thousands. Each consultant runs her (or his; there are a few LuLaBros running around!) business in a different way, with different methods and even different products, because each print is only made into a limited number of pieces. Some stick to album sales and online pop-ups, others use live “shop-the-box” sales or in-home pop-ups, and some even do personalized videos to find outfits for customers. Most also do group album sales once a week or more. Probably the most exciting part of LuLaRoe are the giveaways–many consultants will do a giveaway on a weekly basis, or even more often. The best part about LuLaRoe is the community. Everyone involved is focused on holding each other up, supporting each other, and making each other feel beautiful. The brand was built on that.

Personally, that is the reason why I love LuLaRoe . Since I put on my first pair of leggings, I’ve felt more confident and more beautiful than I ever did before, and I know I can always turn to the LuLaRoe community for styling tips and advice when I’m uncertain about what I’m wearing. The consultants are a huge part of that. One consultant, in particular, Sarah Secor-Jones, puts a particular emphasis on personalized shopping experiences and making sure her customers are getting exactly what they need to feel confident, beautiful, and well-dressed every time they put on their LuLaRoe.

The very first thing I noticed when I visited Sarah's page was that it was filled with live videos. When I looked closer, I realized that most of those videos were "personal shopping experiences" she had put together for customers who requested them. This must take so much extra time and effort, but you wouldn't know from watching those videos. She is so at ease and excited to show each woman the outfits she picks out for them. The outfits she picks are always adorable and she is always so friendly and bubbly in the videos. It's clear that she loves her work as a consultant! If personal live videos aren't your preference, don't worry! Sarah also holds album sales and live "shop-the-box" sales where she unpacks new inventory right there! Sarah is an amazing consultant and I can hardly wait to add to my collection from hers!

Grey's Anatomy

Even Shonda Rhimes, winning creator and executive producer of the hit TV shows Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, and The Catch agrees that relationships with fictional characters are real. In her book, The Year of Yes she states, "I have spent more time with Meredith and Christina then many of my actual friends...When you watched TV, even spending a full hour with Christina once a week, you were likely spending more time with her then you spent with most people in your life. That relationship was real."

Going to the gym and working out on a daily basis (with breaks once in awhile) has been a great way for me to feel good about myself. It is 100% more than just looking good. Especially after starting college and having the stress and anxiety of tests, assignments, and just figuring out my future, the gym at my school has definitely been a place of relief for me and I have numerous reasons of why everyone should push themselves to get to the gym when they can.

Oh college, lovely, lovely college. A four-year time span that is filled with many highs and many lows. Between procrastinating on an essay that is due at midnight to getting your first library card (if you know what I mean), college is a time that you should not take for granted, yet it is also a time where you feel like your entire world is falling apart. It is a time where one day you can feel like you are on top of the world and then the next day you are 500 feet below the ground surface.
