As I approached the amphitheatre I could hear the crowd and nearly smell the $11 beers. My excitement was starting to grow as the cowboy boots, flannels and cowboy hats came in view.
Once I walked through the gates, I could feel the energy and excitement of everyone. Everyone seemed relaxed and as if the only care they had was how soon they'll get to see Luke Bryan.
I made my way to the lawn seating where there was no chance I was actually sitting because once Luke hits the stage everyone was going to hit their feet.
The opening act finished and soon after the lights dimmed and a slight hush came over the crowd. Until all at once the roar began. The band started to play and then with a flash of light Luke Bryan hit the stage. Hit after hit was played and I couldn't resist the urge to get a better view of him doing his famous hip shake. My friend and I slowly and strategically made our way as close to the front as possible. We enjoyed the rest of the concert singing at the top of our lungs and dancing like no one was watching.
Experiencing Luke Bryan up close was incredible. His smile and dancing were even better than expected, not to mention his voice. All in all Luke Bryan put on a show I'll never forget.
