So, the moment movie fans have been waiting for since last year after they saw the Ant-Man after credit scene, and comic book fans have been waiting for since 2007 is finally here. Captain America: Civil War has been released into theaters as of May 6th. The film has received critical acclaim from critics and fans respectively and is currently ranked 64 in IMDb's Top 250. Forbes Magazine even dares to say that Civil War is "The single greatest superhero movie ever made". But, does Captain America: Civil War really live up to the hype? Or, are all of the reviews giving the movie a better name than it should?

PROS: Oh, where to start with the upsides to this movie? Well, first off, let's talk about the large roster of characters. Robert Downey Jr.'s performance as Tony Stark in Civil War is (in my opinion) his best portrayal as the character. I won't go into too much detail (for now) his passion for his role is perfectly shown in this particular film. Chris Evans' portrayal of Captain America was hands down fantastic (as always). Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff was incredibly entertaining in this movie. The way Olsen portrayed Maximoff was heartwarming and charming to watch. Newcomer Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa (Black Panther) was part of the reason I was on the edge of my seat. AND MY GOODNESS, CAN WE TALK ABOUT TOM HOLLAND AS SPIDER MAN?! My goodness, he was the perfect blend of nerdy and witty! And Paul Rudd as Ant-Man was perfect. His 10 minute bit was the funniest of the whole movie. Come to think of it, there was no bad actor/actress in this movie. Everyone who was handed the script and told to act did so flawlessly.

Adding onto that, the script (again, in my opinion) was beautifully written. The film had enough going on to keep you on the edge of your seat, yet it didn't bombard you with a lot at one time. The flow of the movie was smooth. All of the transitions in the film were easy to follow. So, to make a long story short, both screenplay and portrayal of characters in Civil War make the film darn near perfect.

CONS: This first "con" is more of a warning, or "disclaimer" if you will. If you haven't been watching all of the latest films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and choose to watch this movie, you most likely won't understand what is going on. Marvel usually does a good job at broadening up the storyline so anyone can pop in at anytime, but due to specific events in the movie timeline (specifically events in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and portions of Ant-Man), the viewer needs to have a bit more prior knowledge of the MCU timeline before the viewing of this film.

I am just going to come out and say it... The animation and special effects in this movie looked a bit fake in this movie. Compared to other Marvel films, the visual effects in Civil War weren't too great. Now, I know what you're thinking. "It's a Marvel movie, let alone a science fiction movie. Why expect realism?" Well, reader with a bit of attitude, I (as a movie goer and "somewhat" critic) expect realism when realism is due. If Iron Man is flying through the air, or the Hulk is "Hulking", or when Spider Man is web slinging, I don't expect too much realism due to the unrealistic nature of the situation. But when someone is jumping from rooftop to rooftop from a realistic distance and it looks animated, I am going to have a bit of a problem. A lot of the stunts in this film were pure CGI when they didn't need to be, and it annoyed me. I know Disney and Marvel have all of the money in the world to throw at special effects, but when someone is sliding down a pole and it looks like a clip from a video game, don't be surprised if I find it pathetic.

CONCLUSION: While some of the special effects annoyed me to no end, the incredible script and the magnificent cast make up for it. This film was incredibly well done and had me on the edge of my seat both times I watched it. If you so happen to have free time, and if you ever stumble across the opportunity to see Captain America: Civil War, do so. Delight yourself with a well made movie.

Result: 9/10

I have not seen the movie in a Premium format (IMAX, XD, any large format theater). However, I did get to see Civil War in both 3D and 2D. Don't bother going to see it in 3D. I couldn't tell a difference. However, if you see it in a Large Screen format, go and see it. IMAX filmed sequences for action movies are always a delight to see.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
