And My Least Favorite, The "Wiener Dog"

As many people know, the Dachshund is easily the best dog around and if you disagree with me, you probably don't have one. Often called "weenie dog," "hot dog," "Doxie," "sausage dog," or my least favorite, "wiener dog," you can basically call them whatever you wish! I'm sure everyone knows at least one person who has a weenie dog, but if it isn't your own, be careful when approaching. Dachshunds are typically a "one person dog," which means they bond to their owner or their family. They often defend their family by their deep bark which is much bigger than their actual size, or sometimes even snapping at strangers.

Dachshunds come in fifteen different colors so, you basically can pick which color you like best, ha! Not only do they have a variety of colors, they also have three different types of coats- short hair, which is pretty common, longhaired and wire-haired. They also come in three different sizes, miniature, standard and usually a size in between. My favorite thing about the sausage dog is that they even have their own dog races! Now, you know that has to be cute!

The Dachshund is often dressed up in cute clothes for social media or even pictures doing some of their most common behaviors. I found the best Doxie photos, just for you!

1. You cannot help but stare into their deep eyes!

Oh wow, those eyes are great for begging for treats!

2. Some Dachshunds even wish to be taller!

The Dachshund might even be curious about how life would be different with long legs, but if we are being honest, I wonder too!

3. They might often be seen in pairs

They are often seen as pairs! Doxies are known for gaining weight easily, but a friend to play with can make exercise more fun!

4. They are even considered a hunting dog!

You might just catch your Dachshund digging in your yard or even come to your door with a new friend. The Dachshund was bread to be a hunting dog, mainly for badger hunting but they also hunt moles, rabbits and whatever else they can find. Their long noses and short legs make perfect for digging and nudging in to holes!

5. They love to beg for food!

The typical begging pose for any weenie dog, I call it "The Meerkat!"

6. They might be a little more spoiled than most breeds

I am convinced that the weenie dog is more spoiled than any other bread. They love to share with their owners and I am sure they think, "what is yours is mine" and the bed is not off limits!

7. They love going on adventures

Taking your Doxie on walks to explore is always fun, just be careful because he or she may try running off after a squirrel!

8. Eyes on the treat, always!

t is impossible to tell these sweet babies no.

9. They love to race!

I am sure they are racing to the end because their owners are waving treats at them!

10. If your Doxie comes up missing, you might just find them on their back in bed!

Because after all, what is yours is theirs, right?

Finally, if you don't have a Dachshund, you probably need to find one to love on! They are the best with their humorous and loving personality. The Doxie will always be looking forward to seeing you each and every time you come to visit!

What does your Dachshund do that makes you laugh?

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

College is a great place to meet people, especially through Greek life. If you look closely at sororities, you'll quickly see there are many different types of girls you will meet.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
