Being my age might seem a little weird to actually love Disney movies, but what can I say I'm a kid at heart

I’m 23 And I'm Not Apologizing For Being A Fan Of Disney Movies

In This Article:

For those who know me know that I love anything, Disney. No, I'm not talking about Disneyland in either California or Florida, honestly never been to either, but that's a different story. I'm talking about the Disney movies; Pixar, Walt Disney Picture films, and animated as well as the live action ones. I love both old and new and I love the ones that involve music and singing, I sing along to them all the time. Sorry, not sorry.

I'm 23 years old and I am happy to say that I love these movies and I understand that it might be weird for me to admit but I no longer care if I get judged because I love these movies or that I go see them when they come out to theaters. I am proud to say I am a kid at heart and I always look forward to seeing what comes next and I love rewatching my favorites.

Over the years I have watched my fair share of Disney movies, especially the animated ones, such as Lion King which will forever be my favorite. I am a little worried about the live action Lion King, but I know that I have to give it a chance. I already know picking a favorite is near to impossible for me to do. I will say that I love the ones where singing is involved somehow, granted not all are involved in singing at all, but they are still on my list none the less.

For me, it's all about having a great story with something for everyone who watches it. For me, the best movies are romance, comedy, family, a storyline with heartache in it, and a great song. Some of my favorites are…

1. Lion King (all)

2. Lilo & Stitch

3. The Cheetah Girls (all)

4. Bambi (all)

5. Lady and the Tramp

6. The Aristocats

7. Pocahontas

8. Beauty and the Beast (both versions)

9. Tarzan

10. Meet the Robinson's

11. Chicken Little

12. Monsters Inc.

13. Mulan

14. Princess and the Frog

15. Inside Out

16. Zootopia

17. Frozen

18. Coco

19. Moana

20. High School Musical (all)

21. A Bug's Life

22. Wall-E

23. Fox and the Hound

24. Homeward Bound (all)

25. Dinosaur

26. Snow Dogs

27. The Country Bears

28. The Lizzie McGuire Movie

29. The Pacifier

30. Hannah Montana the Movie

31. Big Hero 6

32. The Chronicles of Narnia (all)

33. Bridge to Terabithia

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Syllabus Week As Told By Kourtney Kardashian

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
