For this Spring break, I was introduced to the beautiful island of St. Simons. I spent four days there shopping at the local shops, bike riding, and lounging on the beach. In order to get to the island, you need to cross this amazing bridge which is pictured below.
My family and I rented a huge house with a private heated pool that was not so "heated." When we first got there, the pool was 50 degrees, and it wasn't until the third day that we were really able to enjoy it.
The first day we walked around the neighborhood as well as the village. The village, pictured above, is a strip of super cute stores. The stores had styles like Lily Pulitzer, Simply Southern and some more locally known brands.
I got myself a Simply Southern shirt, one that cannot be found here in New England. I also collected serval shells and Sand Dollars that I hope to do cool things with! My family and I rented bikes one day and rode around the whole island.
We also went to the top of the lighthouse and took beautiful pictures!
This is a picture that my sister took of my boyfriend and me at the top of the lighthouse. He also came with us on the trip! It was so fun. My family and I had such a fun time and I am so happy to share this amazing trip with all of you! Next vacation I recommend going to St. Simons Island.
