Winnie the Pooh was always an amazing part of my childhood and I think now that it is time to bring him and his friends into my adult life. The raw love that Pooh has for his friends and the honest and deep friendship that these characters share is something I look up to. I hope you can take these quotes from Winnie the Pooh and fill your life with the love that is simply as pure as he is.

1. "Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart." Each day, smile a little more, especially to strangers. Your can smile can go a long way and can help brighten someone's day.

2. "A friend is one of the nicest things you can have & one of the best things you can be."

3. "How do you spell love?" "You don't spell it you feel it." Love is not a simple concept in itself but instead of thinking and complicating things, just let it be and take it in.

4. "You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." You got this! The key to happiness is to be your number one fan.

5. "Any day spent with you with is my favorite day. So, today is my new favorite." Each day is filled with so many blessings; take and hold on to each, while always being thankful.

6. "Life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved." No reason to need all the answers, just enjoy all that comes your way.

7. "If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart and I'll stay there forever." Wait for this love and never be afraid to give the same love to another person.

8. "As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen."

9. "Some people say nothing is impossible but I do nothing everyday." Never be told you cannot; always show them you can.

10. "If you live to be a 100, I hope I live to be a 100 minus 1 day so I never have to live without you." Hold on tight to friends, family, and significant others.

11. "How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." Especially to the last bite of a really good meal!

12. "A day without a friend is like a pot without a single drop of honey left inside." Make friends with strangers and make family out of friends.

13. "Once in a while someone amazing comes along ... and here I am." -Tigger

14. "Life is not about how fast you run or how high you climb but how well you bounce." -Tigger life is going to knock you down but do not let it keep you down. Bounce back up and be an even better version of you than before.

15. "Don't be ridick-orous." STOP OVERTHINKING. Breathe, smile and enjoy!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
