Simple reminders

Love is something that is hard to even explain to anyone becuase each person has a different meaning of love. Love can mean family love, friends, and even someone else. But then again other times it can mean being with many guys, or same with girls, but then love can mean something. To me love is something that is easy to come by, but finding true love is much harder.

Now these days you don't have it where you date for months and then your boyfriend and girlfriend, it's much different. Now some do that, but then others will have sec on the frist date or even if they are just hooking up. But to me I'm different I don't think people should be dating around and messing with peoples emtions at all, but then again this world has changed, you have the girls that will always still another girls boyfriend and then same thing with the guys stealling other guys gurlfriends. However all these guys and girls are not the same. There are some good guys out there and also some good girls out there in the world, and even could be someone who dosen't think they have a chance with you. I know deep down and i say this to all my friends there is always someone out there for you no matter who you are or the past you come from. I got lucky with the person I am with now, I thought i was never going to get a boyfriend or be with someone, becuase i am bigger then the other girls, and im too different, and i don't act like a girl. But that all chnged for me once he came into my life.

I am one lucky girl to have someone who is amazing and sweet, caring, supportive, and so much more. Honestly i don't know what i would do without him, I have gotten though so much crap since me and him started to date and i can honestly say he has saved my life, just by hearing the sound of his voice or seeing his face or even just seeing his name pop up on my phone. He is something special to me and I don't trade him for anything else in the world. I never thought I would have someone to like me growing up people didn't talk to me much, and I was one of the guys. But that changed once I hit high school, anything can happen within a blink of a eye.

Now there is a reason why I wrote this, and i have a few friends that think no one will ever be with them, and they are being played by girls or guys depending on what friend i am talking to, but honestly get to know someone for a few months, and actally talk to them, and not push the bar. Becuase you will find yourself going a long way like i did with someone who really cares about you more then anything, and if it's not ment to be then it's not and now you have a really close friend that you can go and talk to whenever! It's hard now of these days to find someone becuase people want to play with feelings with different people, but honestly if you follow your heart and take it day by day and not fast with someone, you will find yourself in a good place with them, either way it goes as friends or even more then friends.

All in all no matter what you look like, or how different you really are, or any of that just remember there is someone out there for you that will love and care about you so much, it's something that will happen on it's own, and not just over night. Don't worry if your not with someone now, foucs on you and your life and when the right one comes along, it will be at the right time.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
