Pride is a time to come together, to celebrate and spread love and acceptance, without exceptions, while learning and knowing the history of why pride exists in the first place. It's really not that hard to be an ally. Anyone reading this who isn't an LGBTQ+, just educate yourself. Support the LGBTQ+ community especially when you see things that aren't right. I'm telling this again- It's not that hard. Just don't be that person in the playground who watches somebody get kicked down or get bullied and you're just standing there like, oh it's not my business. 'coz let me tell you, It is your business! The change will happen quicker if we all come together and fight for what is right. You will never truly understand the impact you have and how many loved you can save just by being an ally.
As a decent human being, it is our duty to never stop supporting other people's rights, use any kind of platform we have to raise awareness and challenge any kind of homophobia/ biphobia/ transphobia that exists.
I never want my LGBTQ+ brothers and sisters to feel afraid or ashamed of who they are. You should love whoever you want to love because we are all special and unique and we should all be celebrating that. You should be able to express who you are without any fear or worry coming from the world. I love you for who you are and are born to be. So just put on a massive f*ck off pride flag, wear colors, shine wherever you go and be proud of who you are.
