Oh that darn lovey-dovey day is coming up and I am seeing a lot of heart-shaped candies, red and pink teddy bears, and plastic roses (also red and pink) adorn the shelves of my local grocery store.Yes, Valentine’s Day, the day for sweethearts and lovesick fools (haha) is this week and everyone in a relationship or with a crush are hurrying to and fro to commemorate it in any way they can.

As for me, I have compiled some of today’s top artists and a song from each of their catalogs to give you a 2018-worthy list that will hopefully set you and your object of affection or you by yourself further into the romantic mood.These songs are all available on Spotify so get an account with them and enjoy Valentine’s Day 2018! I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
