Now that the month of February is coming to a close, it's time to reminice on the good times that it brought is, specifically Valentine's Day. With love and galentine friendship in the air, there are a few songs that go perfectly with the February mood. Here are some of the best love songs for you and your SO.

1. "Wonderwall"- Oasis

Anyway, here's Wonderwall.

2. "Chasing Cars"- Snow Patrol

This is one of my favorite, and I think that it has always been a go-to for the lovestruck. Also, this song should ALWAYS play at any type of school dance.

3. "You and Me"- Lifehouse

A beatiful song with easy lyrics to follow. It helps that the singer is so darn cute, I can't help but feel butterflies!

4. "The Only Exception"- Paramore

Thirteen year old me would blast this and sing about the past heartbreak and newfound love as if I had actually experienced it.

5. "Home"- Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros

If you haven't heard this folksy song of two people being in love, you need to. Here you go.

6. "High Hopes"- Kodaline

This song is sweet, and the video is even sweeter, with two people chosing each other over the outside world. Honestly, the song doesn't reach its full potential until you watch the video.

7. "Peach"- The Front Bottoms

If you like indie rock, this song is for you. "You are my peach, you are my plum. You are my earth, you are my sun."

8. "Medicine"- The 1975

So so so so many of their songs are like liquid love. Or liquid anti-love. But the intro to Medicine, when the guitar starts to play, it sounds like falling in love. A realization. THE moment.

9. "First Day of My Life"- Bright Eyes

I have always thought that the premise of this song was the most romantic thing ever. The first day that my life began was the day that I saw you. If a boy ever said that to me, I'd melt right to the floor.

10. "I Wanna Be Yours"- Arctic Monkeys

Hunky Alex Turner and his low, sexy voice telling me he wants to be mine. I'm in, sign me up.

11. "I Will Follow You into the Dark"- Death Cab For Cutie

Acoustic always strums my heart strings, and this song has a special place in my heart.

12. "Kiss Me"- Ed Sheeran

Any Ed Sheeran song is good, but I think this is his best. It's truly romantic, not just thinly guised as romantic like The A Team.

13. "Come On Get Higher"- Matt Nathanson

Smooth, silky, and slightly explicit.

14. "You and I"- Ingrid Michaelson

Pretty ukuele, acting like bunnies, both a duet and a chorus, this song hits all the high notes of a cute love song.

15. "If I Tremble"- Front Porch Step

"If I tremble at the sight of you, it's not because I'm cold. It's because I'm staring at the girl I want to love me when I'm old". I shake when I get nervous around boys, so this song is perfect and lovely.

16. "I'm In Love with You"- Joy Williams

This is the song for an older me, when I'm waking up in bed with my husband at my side and children in the next room. It's a song where you already know you're in love, you have been for years and it's only getting better.

17. "Sloppy Seconds"- Watsky

Watsky is a master of spoken poetry and rap, and he's also a big softy. Sloppy seconds says that you're fine no matter where you've been. Maybe you're even better because of your scars.

18."Your Song"- Rita Ora

Her voice is absolutely magical. And she only wants love songs.

19. "Mine"- Taylor Swift

The pre-teen inside of me was screaming for old school Taylor to be included on this list.

20. "Name"- The Goo Goo Dolls

I have always loved The Goo Goo Dolls. I feel like this song is very melancholic, because it's sung as if he's having to encourage a lover to come back, and he won't spoil her secret.

21. "A Thousand Miles"- Vanessa Carlton

A song that any age can picture singing with their loved one. Even Terry Crews loves this song!

22. "Fall into Me"- Brantley Gilbert

I'm not usually one to like country, but I think the slow lyrics are romantic, and Gilbert artfully infuses them with emotion.

23. "505"- Arctic Monkeys

They deserve another spot on this list with this song, since he waited so long for her in room 505.

24. "I Miss You"- Blink-182

As surprising as it is that they made it on the list, Blink-182 managed to make this (bitter?)sweet song.

25. "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out"- Citizen (The Smiths cover)

What's more romantic than someone saying that if they were going to get hit by a bus, by your side is where they want to be?

26. "Vanilla Twilight"- Owl City

Remember Owl City? Yeah, he came out with this sweet gem.

27. "Just Like Heaven"- The Cure

I heard this from a movie with the same name starring Mark Ruffalo and Reese Witherspoon, and it's one of my favorite songs.

28. "All My Days"- Alexi Murdoch

It's you I've been looking for.

29. "Can't Help Falling In Love"- Twenty One Pilots (Elvis cover)

Elvis know that what he was writing would make people swoon. And Tyler gave it a cute twist with the ukulele.

30. "Fallingforyou"- The 1975

To close up the list, here's another 1975 song. "I don't wanna be your friend, I wanna kiss your neck".

I would have like to add more to this list because there are so many good love songs. But here are some of my favorites!

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
