Roses are red, Violets are blue
My shirts are XL and look, yours are too!
I walk in my closet and smile with glee,
infinite comfort colors are all that I see.
Some say they're tacky, some say they look drab,
But deep down in their hearts, they know, we look fab.
Light pink, to dark blue, and salmon, and black,
Extra large t-shirts give you the confidence you lack.
Do I have a six pack and abs under there?
Am I wearing pants? You can't tell if you stare.
Birkenstocks, chacos, white high top chucks?
We all know the shoes are where we spend the big bucks.
The sorority "uniform," to the boys it makes no sense,
We just tell them to relax and not be so intense.
We sip from our tumblers and walk class to class,
We walk with pride and a whole lot of sass.
Letters on front cuz my sisters got my back.
Thank goodness for sororities and even the frats.
We may not look perfect 100% of the time,
but big t-shirts are a way of life, so its just fine.
We don't care what you think, or if you approve,
we don't take any judgment, we'll think you're a scrooge.
This is our poem, so you know how we feel.
We love our big t-shirts and nikes, so deal.
Leggings? Uggs? Rain jackets for all?
Well, my darlings, just wait for the fall.
