I would bet that almost everyone has a Netflix subscription, but whether you have time to watch, or even know what to watch is another story. I am a Netflix enthusiast -- somewhat obsessed, to say the least. I have a few good recommendations for anyone who is looking to start a new show and I have a very eclectic taste, so at least one of these recommendations is sure to appeal to you.
Let's start with television series, my favorite. I know what you may be thinking -- I don't have time to start a new series, I have a busy and hectic life. Well, I am giving you a way to relax from that hectic life. You don't have to give these shows your undivided attention, keep it on in the background while you're working around the house, doing homework, exercising, or whatever you may be doing. Watch it before to you go to bed.
I will add a description for some, not all, but I promise every series listed is worth the watch, in no particular order.
Grey's Anatomy.I highly recommend starting this show from season one and following it throughout the whole series. You will fall in love with the story and the characters. It is written very well with a great story lines: medical drama and love stories.
Friends. Also one of my favorites. An oldie, but a goodie. If you have not seen it yet, and are looking for a lighthearted comedy full of love and friendship, I recommend this. If you have already watched Friends, but it has been years, watch it again.
Weeds.Starts off a little slow, but once you get into it you will be hooked. Full of drama.
Revenge. This show is for the drama enthusiast! Follows the life of Emily Thorne who has more secrets, and skeletons in her closet than anyone. Also, set in the Hamptons, so that's always fun!
Scandal. From the same creator as Grey's Anatomy, this show is just as addicting. I like the story line better, just because I am really into politics and love D.C. You don't even have to like politics to watch it, because that's not really what it's about. It's very intense, dramatic, but with also a great love triangle. (If you can't tell, I am a sucker for a good love story)
Gossip Girl. I would say this is sort of like the Sex and the City, but set in high school and college- very scandalous. Full of drama and amazing clothes. I am still obsessed and in love with all of the characters from GG. Well, except for a few, but I will let you make your own opinions.
One Tree Hill. Another one of my favorite shows to binge watch. Set in high school at first, you get to watch these dramatic, trouble making teenagers turn into amazing and passionate adults. Of course, full of love, drama and all that fun stuff.
House of Cards. A political drama that will keep you on your toes. You have to pay close attention to the details. You may not be into it at first, but like with most series, it keeps getting better.
American Horror Story.Every season has a new story line and most of the actors stay for each new season, but play different characters. Three seasons on Netflix so far, all amazing. Seasons one and three are my favorite.
Orange Is The New Black.Hard to watch at times, very graphic, but somehow a show that I enjoyed to watch.
Remember how amazing Netflix is for study breaks, especially with exams right around the corner. Don't let it take over your life. Study, study, study.
Peace, love and Netflix.
