I've struggled. I've struggled because I didn't understand. I've struggled because of others' actions. I've struggled because of society. Today, I struggle no more.

I refuse to not know. I refuse to not know what I'm doing. I will not let life get the best of me. I will not get so caught up in one point of life that I forget about the rest. The complexity of life will not bring me down. I will fight against it. I will ask questions and find out why. I will understand. I will not struggle because I didn't understand.

I will not live waiting for someone else to do something. I have been left and put down by someone's actions. I've struggled because of others' actions. I will not wait for people. I have been let down by important people. I have trusted when I shouldn't have, and I have over-loved when not loved back. I now rise above. I will not struggle anymore because of others' actions.

I will rise above today's society. I will take a stand and do what's right. I've struggled because of society. I have lost hope in many people. I believe fighting for what is right is important. I do not believe violently protesting, attacking, and assaulting is the correct answer. I have struggled because I live in a city that is drowning in cruelty and violence. From this day on, I will rise above and will not struggle any longer because of society.

From this day on, I do me. I live my life. I am worry free.

Today, I struggle no more.
