What does it mean to have self-love? It means respecting yourself, empowering yourself, and having faith and hope in yourself. Finding love within yourself means accepting and respecting the girl you are. Love is the best emotion humans have. If you don’t love yourself how can others love you? Love is accepting your flaws, loving yourself for who you are, and understanding yourself as an individual. If you are funny, serious, shy, outspoken, short, or tall love yourself. You are beautiful, and you matter. Self love is the ability to believe in yourself.

Create a statement for yourself. The way you act and what you wear reflects what other people think about you and let others know you love yourself. Respect yourself. Respect the way you are and let yourself shine. Everyone is different and everyone has a purpose in the world. Do not let being the perfect ideal girl get in the way of how you love yourself. If anything, love yourself for not being the ideal girl. Who wants to be normal or average or look the same way everyone else does? Not me. Love yourself for yourself. You deserve to have confidence and be your own individual. Don’t change for love. If someone truly loves you they will love you like you love yourself. They will accept you and respect you. They will love you for you. Don’t give love to someone who doesn’t respect your self–love, they don’t deserve you. Guys cannot create your self-confidence, you have to build it and believe it yourself. You will never be truly satisfied if you are just relying on other people's love. Your heart will not be complete until you learn to love yourself. Your heart will not trust or fully be open to other love. Do not let yourself break your own heart. Take pride in who you are and someone who also takes pride in themselves will come in your path.

I started to believe I mattered and that I was beautiful. I found a sense of peace and light within myself. I accepted myself for being goofy, short, strong-willed, having curly hair, little feet, freckles, and a big heart. I love myself for all the qualities that make me my own individual. Self-love is the best love because I am who I am.
