To The Happiest Place on Earth,
Hi! You may know me as one of the quite stereotypical "Oh My GOOOOOD I'm in Walt Disney World!" girls that visit you frequently. As much as I wish I wasn't so stereotypical with my reaction every time I visit, I can't help but gaze at the castle in awe at how absolutely real it is. "I can't believe I'm in Disney," I think to myself. Every time I get on a bus to the next park and every time I get a glimpse of the castle or when I wait in line to meet a princess. Its crazy that a place like you exists. I feel at home when I am sitting on a bench, eating a Dole Whip, watching Aladdin and Jasmine greet little kids eager to meet their heroes.
The whole experience changes the minute I walk into Epcot. I walk in and I see adventure. I was lucky enough to visit during the Flower and Garden festival this past year, it was so beautiful. I looked around and everything was just so beautiful. I ate food I never thought I would eat and I saw flowers and happiness no matter where I looked- unless I looked at my friend that had food poisoning (don't worry, it was from Universal Studios). Other than that, everyone was happy and smiling and they all looked like they were enjoying this experience together. Even the strangers that walked by I felt like I knew because we all wanted to be here, in the happiest place on Earth.
My favorite experience in Epcot was this past June when I visited. Frozen is my favorite movie ever. Yet again, pretty stereotypical of me I know, but I love Princess Anna and I love how goofy and real Kristoff is. The day me and my mom planned to visit Epcot was coincidentally the exact day the new Frozen ride opened. I didn't even know they were building a Frozen ride. So the shock was immense when I walked in and saw the 4 hour line to ride. Of course, I didn't wait in that line. We waited until after we ate dinner and then waited in the much more reasonable hour and a half line. It was more than worth it, though. The environment of the ride is so beautiful and the way they made it feel like we were in Arendelle was honestly, amazing. After that, though, we still had to ride the ride. The way the characters looked so real was amazing. I saw Anna and Kristoff and Elsa and Olaf, all in real life singing Let it Go and For the First Time in Forever. Just like they do in the movie.
All in all, thank you for existing.Thank you for always being there when I need you. Lastly, thank you for lighting up the sky.
See you soon,
Caity Seals
