Dear Taco Bell,

I couldn’t even imagine what college would be like without you. From your late hours to your affordable burritos, you have always seemed to know what I need. You have never judged me for my attire or the amount of food on my order. You never said a word when I showed up at midnight wanting nachos, only to return at 10 a.m. to get a breakfast taco.

Your interior is as authentic as your food. Although, it doesn't bother me that much, for I am here for your quantity, not your quality. You seem to always be open when I need you the most and closed when I don’t. Your seasonal selection has brought great joy and your value meals thankfully don't come with a toy.

Your support system is better than the hands of alcohol. I can always count on you to be there during my cheat day, or week. Your arms are still open wide. Of course, you know how to take your time when I’m on a study break and you know how to be quick when I’m running to work. You have a sauce for every occasion and your cravings menu keeps me going. Having a $1 happy hour was the smartest thing you have ever done, besides open your doors to me.

I am a broke college student and you seem to be the only one that doesn’t care. Your value menu has shown me that. You accommodate my every wish with the push of a button. Your employees always give me a smile. I have made many memories within your wall. Many stories that can be shared, and some that will stay in the vault.

My friends don’t understand it, the connection we have, but here we are so many years strong. I sure owe you a lot, only figuratively of course, but I know life is about give and take. Thank you for always being there for me. You’ve seen me at my worse and in my Sunday best, and you still keep your doors open for me. You are the best and I can’t wait to see again soon. Keep doing what you’re doing, because you’re definitely doing something right.

Alll the love,

Your Number One Fan

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
