You came out of nowhere.
I thought you didn't like me but turns out all we had to do was bond over nails. Then one day my boyfriend told me I should invite you to hang out with me because he had to stay late at work.
It took so much courage to break out of my comfort zone and actually ask you to go to the mall with me. You said that you were free, so we went to the mall just like I did with my old best friends.
We talked and got to know each other more, but it seemed like we were so similar yet still a little different. We related on a level that I only did with my ex-best friend.
You were my first friend at school. Some people talked to me, but they were just being nice.
I thought it was weird that you have the same initials as my ex BFF. Even weirder that you have the same exact first name. The weirdest was finding out how similar your middle name was to her. You replaced her.
You understand my vine references, and you think I'm funny.
I feel like I'm writing a love letter. I pretty much am though.
You suddenly came into my life at the time I needed someone most. I had my mom, my best friend from high school, and my boyfriend. That's all I had before you.
Now I have someone to go shopping with, eat out with, work out with(well only once, but we'll work on that), and just someone to talk to.
I finally found a friend that won't steal my ex-boyfriend, someone who will tell me things honestly, someone who won't do the things my ex-best friends did.
I found the bridesmaid I never knew I needed.
So thank you for taking a chance on going to the mall with a girl that everyone thought was quiet.
