A Love Letter From Tea To Coffee

Now I know we come from two different worlds, but we share the same cup, don't we? I know you've bean through a lot, but I can't help that I like to leaf the party a bit early. I'm just not made to be roasted like you. It's funny though, because you're the early riser and I'm the last thing you'll taste before you fall asleep, but I can make myself a breakfast type if you want. They tell me that spending big bucks on the stars is dangerous, but I just become green with envy when I see you in the hands of others. Oh, it's simply been t-oolong and my buddy Earl is too grey to pick me up out of the caffeine crash I've been stuck in. We both play it cool like cream and our words are sugary sweet, but I couldn't bear to see you spoon with another. Being away has me grind my teeth, and I can't find the right blend of music to forget about you.

I'm sorry I tend to collect at the bottom of mugs, but you always leave me holding the bag. I know some of your days are darker than others, but baby I only get stronger the longer I steep. However, I can't loose leaf over you anymore, we've both been in hot water in the past, but that's what makes us so special. We may come from different places, but in the end we do the same thing, and we're able to be hot and cold. Beleaf me, I don't want to bean-yone else's, so let's get steamy and warm each other up before things get too bitter. I'll let you decide what spoon you want to be, and I'll change to any color you want. I'll even filter myself to make you happy enough to stop spitting your acid towards me. Baby, you warm my heart like no other, and we both have a tendency to fog some glasses. You can't coffee a feeling like this with any other drink, so stay in my hands, and let me put my lips to yours.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo
