Always remember you are so loved.

You are my masterpiece.

I know your faults better than you ever could; I know your every crack and every scar. I know how frail you are; therefore, I keep you in the palm of my hand. I also know your strengths and I know every moment of triumph you will experience in this life. In fact, I created you to walk in victory, but this victory depends on if you trust me enough to restore you.

Do you really understand that I am your creator?

The artist is the only one that can truly understand his work. Many people may try to make their own interpretation, but only the artist’s interpretation is truly correct because it is what he intended even before the artwork was manifested in the physical realm. It is the same with you and Me.

Only I can fully understand your innermost parts. No one will get you like I get you. My love for you will never change even with your fickle emotions. I want you to realize the radiant love that beams out of my heart for you. I’m so jealous for you. I want all your time. I want you to get to know me more and as a result, love me more. For so long, I know that you’ve longed to be loved, but do you know that for years, I’ve longed so much to be loved by you? I’m surrounded by those who worship me day and night, but I still want you. I can’t rest until you find your way back to me. You see, you are mine; my heart isn’t complete without you. Please don’t ever leave me for the world.

I am so jealous for you.

My Love for you could blind the sun with its brightness. Don’t ever think that because of your past, I can’t love you. I never stopped. I remember that I formed you with dust, so I know that you weak and vulnerable to temptation. I knew you would fall, but I would pick you back up and for the first time, you would look at me with your heart and not your eyes, and you would finally see me. I’m so glad to have you back, my precious jewel, my princess. I love you; you are so beautiful. I love your warm brown eyes. They are so innocent and so caring. Oh, I can’t forget those soft cheeks that I love to see when you smile, your button nose; your tiny ears! You are so perfect. I crafted you so carefully so that I wouldn’t make a mistake even if it were possible. It was so amazing to give you form from dust; to see my word manifested in the woman you are today. You are breathtaking, absolutely beautiful, my daughter. My heart breaks every time you think you are ugly. Don’t listen to anyone that says that about you! I worked so diligently to make you perfect in my eyes. They don’t know the sweet melody of your heartbeat. They don’t know the perfection in the faint inhale and exhale of your breath, or the soft thud of your footsteps that sound like gentle rain, or your angelic singing voice. They don’t know you. But, I do.

So, no matter what they they try to tell you, remember: you are my masterpiece.

With Love,

God

11 College Misconceptions Every Incoming Freshman Needs To Know

Think of everything that you've heard about college... and completely forget it.

College is a crazy, beautiful, amazing whirlwind. It is highly popularized in television and movies, but not necessarily in the most accurate way. Yes, there's frats, dingy dorms, raging house parties—but there's also a lot that people fail to mention.

1. If you thought that you knew how to study, you're wrong.

All of your classes aren't taught every day, so professors aren't on your case constantly about reading and memorizing material. Once you get back that "questionable" first exam grade, you'll kick it into high gear and figure out what works for you

I've been a bleach blonde for over a year now, and let me tell you, it is a lifestyle. More hair appointments, longer showers, and special shampoo. But it is totally worth it!

1. Mentally preparing yourself to convince your hair dresser that white is the way to go.

2. Or the anxiety of what could go wrong by bleaching your hair at home.

3. You could either become a ginger

4. Or a pixie

5. The face you make in the mirror when you take off your towel to unveil the perfect white strands.

6. Taking a million selfies the day you bleached it, because you know your roots will be back in literally 2 days.

7. Having to get bangs or a big chop because your hair is so damaged.

8. Having orange highlights in between touch-ups.

9. Going out for a drink afterwards to debut your updated look.

Despite the struggles, you love your platinum blonde hair! You make sure Instagram knows it, too. You don't need a filter, because the color is flawless by itself!

Finals: just thinking about them gives you anxiety. Only two weeks separate you from summer, but they're the longest of the semester. There's a familiarity to this season, now that you have had so many testing cycles under your belt. But that doesn't quell the ever present stress to pass your finals and your classes. Even better, as a package deal during these wonderful weeks, you get to wake up early to study and you get to take exams that can begin anytime from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. Now that we have established that this week is not fun, here are some super relatable moments that punctuate finals week.

I've been at this college thing for almost three and a half years, and while I thought that high school was truly the lowest point of my existence, I'm beginning to realize that it was a walk in the park. Like, I miss the days when the biggest white lie I told my parents was my made up excuse about being late for fourth period. These days, the white lies are a tad more complex, and as ashamed as I am to admit it, I've definitely told a few of these.
