How To Keep The Love Alive With Faith In Your Relationship
Sarrah Zeer
“For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." — Ephesians 5:31.

In most relationships, whether you are in a marriage, casually dating, or seriously dating, there is a missing puzzle piece; God. You and this other person were joined together for a reason, not a coincidence. You two were brought together to make each other a better person and the main way to do that is with God in your relationship to be directed on the right path.

Here are 15 bible verses to remind you that love in a relationship needs faith-

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." John 15:13

"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." Ephesians 4:2-3

"A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value." Proverbs 31:10-11

"The LORD God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.'" Genesis 2:18

"One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Proverbs 18:24

"Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control." 1 Corinthians 7:5

"Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm, for love is strong as death, jealousy is fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the LORD. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house, he would be utterly despised."Song of Solomon 8:6-7

"And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." Colossians 3:14

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?" Ecclesiastes 4:9

"For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her."Ephesians 5:25

"Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." Mark 10:9

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs." 1 Corinthians 13:4-5

"And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them." 1 John 4:16

"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." John 15:12

"Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves." Romans 12:10

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
