Why I Love 'Harry Potter'

I don't know about you, but every time I hear "Harry Potter" is playing on ABC Family (Just kidding, Freeform...) I run, scream and tell everyone it's a "Harry Potter Weekend." J.K. Rowling made a timeless story that will forever be held near and dear to everyone's heart. Whenever I hear someone talk about "Harry Potter" in a negative way, I want to either slap them or cast avada kadavra.

Where can I even start with this series? I remember as a kid, anticipating the release of another movie, another book. I remember hearing about the lines on the night of the premiere, everyone wearing cloaks and the stereotypical witch hats. "Harry Potter" is simply life. I'm still waiting for my letter to go, but I'm sadly a muggle.

When the Hogwarts 2016 staff says you can't go to Hogsmeade.

When all of your friends are muggles, but you're a wizard and you're up because of finals, but they can't know you're a wizard because the Ministry of Magic will mess you up.

Gotta drink up that coffee for finals week.

He-who-must-not-be-named is around us muggles, and we need to prepare for the worst. If there are any death eaters in the vicinity please cast the dark mark and get me out of my finals.

"How were your grades this semester?"

If anyone knows how to fashion a horcrux, I want to split myself into 200 individual pieces so no one will ever destroy me. Yes, I am the new Dark Lord.

“I just want you to know that you’re very special… and the only reason I’m telling you is that I don’t know if anyone else ever has.”

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
