Loving Someone Doesn't Always Have To Be Romantic

Sometime loving someone you can't have is better than having someone you can't love.

Love is a weird feeling everyone strives to have in their relationships, but what if I told you, you don't always find love in a relationship. Its safe to say that, you can find love in the most unexpected of ways.

Love is the type of feeling you can't shake, it lingers deep within your mind even when you least expect it to be there. See, if you're fortunate enough to be with the person you love then you know that love is not easy. Love comes with sacrifice and commitment that you'd never expect.

Lets say that you don't have the person you love, least not in that way but lets say you have a best friend that you do everything with, and you find yourself thinking about her more and more. To the point you start to have feelings for this particular person, but unlike any other girl and/or guy you've crushed on, you cannot explain this feeling you have for him or her. What do you do then?

Well, you can try and tell her, but who knows what they might say. Now loving someone you can't have, has its tolls. It drives you crazy, but at the end of the day if you guys are truly best friends, you'll always have them, just not in the way you wish.

It sounds like a nightmare to be in love with someone you'll never be able to have, but trust me, it's better than not having them at all. And it's a lot better than having no one to love. That's the difference between true love or not. Truly loving someone comes with a sacrifice, you may have to live with never being with the person you love, but you still can love them in ways they need.

I know for me, I fell in love with my best friend. For two years I refused to admit it to myself, but after all the turmoil we've been through, I couldn't stand not telling her. I went into the message knowing I'd never get to have her in the way I wished; that we'd never be together. I didn't even expect her to respond, but yet she did.

She simply put, I had a feeling you did, but that is not going to change how we are.

See, the message behind all this is simply, if you love someone; your best friend, your friend, your sisters friend, or anyone else, it shouldn't deter you from the friendship and or bond you guys have. You can love someone and not be in a romantic relationship.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
