Love Comes From Anywhere and Everywhere

Be Ready, Be Open

Love Comes From Anywhere and Everywhere

Ive always believed that love came in many different forms. And that it came when you needed it most, lately Ive been lucky enough to witness love coming at me from all different kinds of angles.

Love for me has come from more than just my relationships with boys. But my greatest dealings with love, especially as of late, has been with my best friends by my side. There are times in your life when you see how evident the love is in your life and who it is that will reach out to you when you need it most.

Leading up to my time abroad Ive been swarmed with people, those close and those I haven't spoken to in what seems like forever, who have reached out to me to wish me good luck and others who have given me the best advice having been in my shoes before.

Its very interesting to see the people who show up or reappear when you really need support in life, even in the little leaps of growth. Im lucky to say that Ive been showered in love and support in many different ways in my life. Whether it be from my home or my friends. Love comes in many different forms and at all different times in our lives. You just have to be ready for when it comes around.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
