You'll Love These Colorful Hairstyles

Hair comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors! We love how beautiful it can be when beauty gurus master the boldest colors and styles only a few of us would dare to tackle. I think it’s time for some hairs inspiration and perhaps a little bit change. After admiring endless Instagram profiles, I've gathered up the hair you'll adore the most! Would you dare to try a new look?

Wavy Ombre Wonders

Kristen Leanne is extremely well known for her changing bold hair color. She loves color so much she is the owner of Artic Fox Hair Color. She developed this cruelty-free and vegan semi-permanent hair color to expand the availability and her passion for hair color and helping animals. Her hair colors of choice above involve an ombre color set of blue, purple and pink on medium length waves. I absolutely love how the blue makes her neck tattoo and eyes stand out! When it comes to dying your hair multiple colors, stick to complimenting hues for a flawless look. Plus, a colorful ombre is a great way to make a chic look more fun.

Faded Purple Spiral Curls

Spiral curls are perfect for a fun look! I can’t get over the length and volume this hair style has. Keeping your hair healthy at a long length is key to a great look. Plus, using products that focus on volume can help perk up thinner hair. If your hair is normally curly or wavy, play up your natural style with products to keep the frizz away but the curl strong. As for straight hair, wrap your hair around the curling iron without the clamp to get loose beachy waves that will fool everyone into thinking they’re real!

Rainbow Braids

Feeling a bit twisted? I'm obsessed with Queen Cocoa's super colorful braids! Amp up your typical braids with a bit of volume and loose waves for a casual but chic look! Start by adding volume at your roots and begin French braiding your hair back while leaving a few pieces in the front to hang out. Finish the braid until the end and secure with clear hair bands. To thicken the braid, begin to pull apart the braid starting from the bottom and going all the way up to your roots where you started. Finally, finish off your look by wrapping your loose pieces around a curling want and setting the braids with hairspray.

Short and Bold

Short hair can be so bold and exciting! If you’re willing to take it to a new level, I suggest Molly Bee’s rockin’ indigo hue ‘do. I love how it’s a bit messy but could also be styled in a poised look. It’s also long enough for her to pull into a small pony tail! Even with her short hair all these years, she always manages to play it up with color and bold makeup looks. We love how she has a pop of bright blue eyeliner to draw out the color from her look and a sultry dark lip. If you’re thinking of a new color switch, maybe try a fun new cut while you’re at it!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

winter

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
