Love Always, Your Best Friend

Thank you for being my shoulder, thank you for being my crutch, and thank you for being my constant since seventh grade.

Love Always, Your Best Friend

Dear Best Friend,

Where do I begin? I could start off by saying our relationship is like no other. You're honest, you're brilliant, you care for me, and you take care of me. You know me inside and out like no other. You randomly text me a picture of something you found funny on the internet and I, of course, respond with "LMAO" and a bunch of laughing crying emoji's.

Times are tough right now. School, work, trying to keep my head above water without drowning in the overwhelming pool of emotions. I know I should vent to you over a gas station pizza and Icee and us sit on your bed for hours upon end, watching Netflix. I know I should call more, I know that I should respond back, thank you for being patient.

Thank you for being my shoulder, thank you for being my crutch, and thank you for being my constant since seventh grade. Thank you for pushing me to do better in life and making sure I was okay when I was definitely not. For listening to me vent over the same drama over and over again and hating everyone I did whether you really did or not.

Thank you for being my family. Thank you for bringing me on trips and lake days and letting me third wheel. Thank you for letting me borrow clothes that I probably still have that neither of us can fit anymore. Thank you for lunch dates and never forgetting me as we went to separate high schools. For the never ending love I have received from you and your family.

Thank you for understanding I can't do the things we used to like riding on top of the golf cart in the freezing cold, seeing how long it would take to go around the neighborhood screaming at the top of our lungs. Thank you for singing Alicia Keys with me and going through the horrible scene phase by my side faithfully (and embarrassingly).

Thank you for still being here emotionally as well as physically when you come home from college. Thank you for the endless snap chat videos that are 50 seconds deep and still going that keep me informed and laughing in tears. Thank you for being you.

You've been here through everything. You know everything and you've experienced most of everything with me. You are such a strong, beautiful, and smart young woman and I am blessed to have you by my side during this life.

You're my future Maid of Honor, you're the bat to my man, and your my favorite passenger in our NASCAR adventures

I am so proud of you for following your dreams and using your talent to enhance your life. I am so ready to see where you go!

Thank you for doing life with me.

Love always, your best friend.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

You know that all of these things apply to you. You'll just never tell.

CSU

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
