Fans love Harvey Specter because of his fearless attitude, charming persona, and unceasing dedication when it comes to winning cases. They love Mike for almost the exact opposite reasons- he genuinely cares about his clients, he does almost everything according to the best interests of those he loves, and he's willing to lose sometimes if it means keeping things he cares about. However, for a long time, few people appreciated the raging storm that is Louis Litt. In recent seasons, he moved from a background character to one of the most equally loved and hated characters in the series. Whether you like him or not, as they say in Gossip Girl, "you're no one until you're talked about," and he is definitely one of the most talked about characters in the show. For the following reasons, I believe Louis Litt is one of, if not the most, interesting characters on any show on tv today.
1. He has his own catchphrases that incorporate his name:
2. He made mugs with said catchphrase and gave them out to everyone in the firm:
3. 1 word: Mudding.
Along with his love for the opera and theatre, Louis loves to go mudding. In his own words, "there's nothing to be afraid of...it's just good, clean mud!" **WARNING: This is something you cannot unsee, no matter how hard you try.
4. The dictaphone.
Instead of keeping a diary, Louis records everything on his handy, dandy dictaphone...including those rare compliments from Harvey, which we all know he replays millions of times afterward.
5. His cat obsession.
Although he seems to have a love/hate relationship with a lot of humans, his loyalty to cats is unfailing.
Ah, Louis Litt. He graduated at the top of his class at Harvard Law, yet he can't seem to understand normal social interaction. He ended a relationship because he wanted children and his fiancee didn't. He is a character built on so many quirks that it would take forever to figure him out and I think that is precisely why he is the most interesting character on television.
