Dear Noble,

Congratulations on reaching one million subscribers on YouTube! I can’t say I’ve been with you since the beginning of Lost Pause, and I cannot say that I necessarily liked you when I found your channel. But for whatever reason, I subscribed to your channel and started checking out whatever new videos you posted on YouTube. Eventually, I realized my day was going to be a little bit better whenever I got a notification from your channel.

I think that I first heard about your channel from Joey, the Anime Man, and I remember thinking, “This guy is pure cringe and I don’t think his channel is for me.” But since Joey mentioned you a few times, I figured there must be something about you that made you worth watching.

I think that it was your reaction videos that really hooked me. For one thing, it was awesome to be exposed to all these other YouTube channels that created abridged series, cracks/vines, and other creative videos. And it was cool to watch those videos and have someone like you to laugh with.

That was when I realized what made you likable. You weren’t someone who went on rants about the anime industry, or someone who critiqued the latest anime series. You were just a friend who liked anime as much as every other otaku.

That was why it was so surprising to hear that your channel got deleted. At first, I thought it was some kind of joke, or that I did not really understand the situation, but it was true. Lost Pause was gone.

I can imagine that it was probably tough for you; I mean, it was tough for me, and it wasn’t even my channel. Still, I’m glad that you created Lost Pause 2, and kept making videos that made people laugh. By the way, thanks for sharing “Shots Fiyred,” your beautifully written novella, with the entire internet.

Thankfully, after all that YouTube drama, you got your channel back, and it was good to have you back, even though you never really left.

It’s been awesome just watching you grow and change as a YouTuber. I remember back when you first got your lovely mascot, Lily the Mechanic, and I’m glad that you’ve kept her around even if she’ll one day take over your channel.

Your challenge videos are always great, even if you never win. I try to play along with your “Try Not To Laugh” videos, and I can usually last a little longer than you, even though your laughter cracks me up.

However, if I had to choose one video of yours that is my absolute favorite, I think that it would have to be, “How to be an Anime Tsundere,” or your series of playing “Kokoro no Doki Doki Senpai” with Joey. In my opinion, it may be hard for you to top those videos, but I’m sure that you will, especially with your Boku Noble video coming soon. I know a lot of people are waiting anxiously for it.

Anyway, I hope you know how much I, and so many of your subscribers, love you and everything that you do. Your videos honestly make a bad day a little bit better, because your cringe is amazingly hilarious. You may think that you just look at anime boobs for a living, but you do so much more.

From one beautiful son of a gun, thanks and congratulations!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
