When God takes our loved ones away.

Always on my mind, forever in my heart.

Unfortunately, sometimes tragedy happens in life and these tragedies will take us back. You can never be prepared enough for some of the trials life throws your way.

One of the curveballs life throws your way is the loss of a loved one. Whether the loss was unexpected or expected, it still hurts and is a very painful process to work through. Death is hard to grieve because you have to fully understand that the person you love is not coming back. Never let anyone push you to grieve faster than you need to. Grievance is a process that should not be pushed.

Know that you are not alone! There are people around you who are there to hold you up when you just can't hold yourself up. Know that is OK to lean on someone! You are not expected to grieve the loss of someone you loved so much alone. There is a loving God that will never leave you alone, no matter the situation. Find peace in the face of trials for you are never alone!

There is a God that walks beside us through these losses. My God is always here and always comforting through the good and the bad. At times, it can be hard not to question why God took our loved ones away. In this time, you have to understand that his plan is much bigger than ours.

Hard times will come, I wish I could say the opposite. Cherish the memories and know that they are looking down on you! Try to find peace in the hard times, and do not have a hard heart! For you are much stronger than you think, and God will hold your hand always

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
