Who knew it was so easy?

We’ve all been there when a girl likes a boy or a boy likes a girl-- or all the other combinations, but note to everyone: this is how you lose a girl in ten ways.

  1. She tries to impress you, but you get angry because you don’t understand or something.
  2. Playing games, like waiting a certain number of days to message her.
  3. If you know you’re not going to work out, you could just tell her.
  4. Not asking about her life.
  5. Not realizing she has a personal life, thus her world doesn’t revolve around you.
  6. Not realizing that if she doesn’t respond back in emojis, it doesn’t matter. Would you rather have winky faces and smiley faces the whole time even when she’s annoyed or just the usual rolling her eyes?
  7. Question why she wants you as a boyfriend?
  8. She has probably asked around about you, and if she isn’t responding back, one of the reasons might be because she learned that she doesn’t like.
  9. Give the shortest possible responses.
  10. If she’s flirting with you, responding by “What does the mean?” is wrong.

And that is how you lose a girl in ten ways.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."
