Delrawn Small, 37, Brooklyn, New York. Date of death: July 4th, 2016.

Alton Sterling, 37, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Date of death: July 5th, 2016.

Philando Castile, 32, Saint Paul, Minnesota. Date of death: July 6th, 2016.

The deaths of these three men have caused utter outrage in America. All three were fatally shot by police officers. Because of these three deaths, riots and protests have broken out. Dallas, Texas: July 7th 2016. Five police officers were shot by snipers in high locations. They were targeted to avenge the deaths of those who have been killed by police officers. At least seven more officers were wounded that night while monitoring the protest. Black lives matter, all lives matter, blue lives matter. Who matters anymore? This isn't about politics anymore. This isn't something President Obama can fix; it's nothing Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton will be able to fix. Every death has a story; some warranted, some not. None of this is about everyone on social media trying to break down the case, and taking sides. Here is a message to those who have experienced racism and want to make a change.

Revenge is never the answer. More cold blood does not wash away the initial pain. If we want to make a difference in today's cruel world, we must stand together. We must stand together and fight. We will fight with love, peace and kindness. Society must stand together and defend what is just. If we ignore that there is a problem, it will always exist. Arguing on social media doesn't fix any of these problems. We must work toward a greater good. We must work toward God. It scares me that I do not have full confidence in the stability of our society at this time.

Ronald Reagan said it best: "If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, we will be a nation gone under." We need more good in this country. We need to treat people on the street as our neighbor and not as a nameless stranger walking the other way. A message of love needs to be shared, not one of hatred. How do we come back from this? The change must be completely internal, since we have no control over the people who target us. We must show the love of Jesus to all, but at the same time, be steadfast in liberty and freedom.

So, let's make a change. Because this isn't about politics anymore, this is about standing together as one nation under God. It is about all Americans standing up for each other and for our freedom.

Dear Lord,

Please help U.S.

our solidarity might bust.

But we beg for unity,

because all we know is tragedy.

We need salvation,

more communication.

Let us know you,

so we will get through.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
