Looking For A New TV Show To Watch On Netflix?

Netflix is pretty awesome. College students squeeze in time to watch it when we are bombarded with tests and papers in the school year, so of course in the summer when everything has calmed down a little, we find time to watch it even more. Don't act like you don't. I know you do, because I do too. Let's be honest, Netflix is an addiction. Whether it is movies or TV shows, it is hard to stop watching. Sometimes though, you finish one show and are not sure what to start next. Check out some of the shows I listed below. There is nothing wrong with a little Netflix binging in the summertime.

1. Friends

Friends is one of the best shows of all time. It is relatable, funny, romantic, and even sad sometimes. Friends is the story of the above six twenty year olds finding themselves in the Big Apple. Even if you have watched the show a million times before like me, watching Friends again is always fun. Are you a Monica, Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Joey, or Phoebe? Or maybe you are a mix if a few? Watch it and see!

2. One Tree Hill

One Tree Hill is one of my very favorite shows. The town of Tree Hill, North Carolina is home to half brothers Lucas and Nathan Scott. Not only do they battle it out on the basketball court, but in real life as well. Add in Peyton, Brooke, and Haley and life can get a little chaotic sometimes. One Tree Hill is funny, dramatic, and sad all in one. It is hard to find words to describe it exactly. It is a great coming of age story, and very relatable. It is not your stereotypical teenage drama. Watch One Tree Hill and follow along as the above five grow up, change, fall in and out of love, and try to figure out life.

3. New Girl

Jessica Day goes through an awkward break up and has to find a new place to live. What happens when the new girl Jess moves into an apartment full of guys who have never lived with a girl before? Life gets kind of crazy! New girl is crazy and fun and hilarious all in one. Jess's best friend Cee Cee hangs around and stirs things up even more. Check it out!

4. How I Met your Mother

Ted Mosby is looking back on his life and telling his kids the story of how he met their mother. This is all occurring as him and his best friends are living in New York figuring life out. There is a lot of fun, crazy dates, and adventures along the way. His best friends Lily, Marshall, Robin, and Barney are always there along the way helping out by giving advice and trying to figure out their own crazy lives as well.

5. Parenthood

Parenthood is all about the Braverman family and how they deal with being parents. The Braverman family consists of grandparents Camille and Zeke, and their four children Julia, Crosby, Sarah and Adam. There is plenty of family drama, but also a lot of love to go around. Fair warning, Parenthood can be quite the tear jerker, but in a feel good way. Parenthood is sweet and sad all in one.

These are just a few of some pretty great shows that are on Netflix to check out. I hope you like my recommendations.

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
